The Tracker tool is an extension of the GPS Phone Tracker, an open source tracking tool developed by Nick Fox.
The JavaME application was changed to allow data to be sampled more frequently (every 5 or 10 seconds instead of every few minutes). The serverside code and web interface were re-written from scratch.
